The Luxembourg Cybersecurity Factory (LCSF) directly addresses the cybersecurity dimension of the data-cybersecurity-AI-quantum continuum of the Luxembourg National strategic initiative Accelerating digital sovereignty 2030. It strategically supports the positioning of Luxembourg as European Cybersecurity Hub through Cyber Commons, a Cybersecurity Data Space, a dedicated AI Hub, and a Quantum Lab.
The Luxembourg Cybersecurity Factory operates under the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity.
A factory powered by 4 engines
The Cyber Commons Office ensures coordination with the EU OSPO Network, enables collaboration and dissemination of common cybersecurity open assets, emerging from the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity and partners.
The aim of the Cybersecurity Data Space is to democratise cybersecurity by providing access to open data, which can also be used to train AI systems through an industrialised cybersecurity open data space. Thus, a Cybersecurity Data Lab dimension is foreseen in conjunction with the EU AI Factories. Through the Cybersecurity Data Lab cybersecurity data that already passed the ETL (Extract Transform Load) transformation will be made available.
The Cybersecurity AI Hub aims to provide operational workflows of implementation and interpretation of the EU data-cybersecurity-AI continuum of regulatory requirements for a responsible AI adoption.
The Quantum Lab is intended to support understanding and mitigation of the implications of the Post-Quantum transition. Therefore, the Quantum Lab introduces a step-wise approach starting with assessment of needs and quantum attack surface, together with providing the necessary training and sandbox testing environment for readiness preparation for PQC.
